Grace Lutheran Church

October 13, 2014

Narthex + Nave

MAROTTA/MAIN ARCHITECTS renovated the narthex and nave of Grace Lutheran Church. The church, built in the 19th century, was not as welcoming as more contemporary structures. MAROTTA/MAIN ARCHITECTS created a large open narthex and exchanged the old church doors for new glass doors, creating transparency between the street and church. The historic lighting within the nave was refurbished and re-used. The project also included a new HVAC system.
