Housing Village
A new housing village is planned for construction consisting of 6 units constructed on 3–4 levels to house 36 students each. One of the building units will include a Resident Advisor apartment and a multi-purpose-type classroom space on the ground floor while all other levels will be residential. The total occupancy of the village is projected to accommodate 220 students.
The buildings are planned to reflect the architecture of the university campus and relate to the park-like features of this property which includes woods and streams. The foundation walls will have a stone veneer, while upper floors will be clad in plank siding. A private drive will allow for maintenance and emergency vehicle access into the village, which will otherwise be open for pedestrian use only. An accessible path is planned between the main campus and the new village.
