James Parrish began his professional career in 1982 and has worked as a project manager, BIM specialist, and CADD technician at firms in southeastern Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience in the education sector, with projects ranging from new high schools to district wide master plans. At MAROTTA/MAIN, Jim serves as BIM coordinator. He provides valuable input regarding the latest trends and training in BIM software, especially Revit. Jim is attentive to detail and perseveres to solve design problems.

As BIM coordinator, Jim maintains up-to-date software licenses and establishes office drafting standards, which maximizes MAROTTA/MAIN’s coordination and efficiency. Additionally, he is interested in the artistry of digital representation and graphic design. He specializes in 3D visualization techniques and produces realistic renderings that help clients understand and participate in the design process.

He gauges his years of architectural experience by the age of his 30 year-old African Gray Parrot. Jim enjoys photography, but also values being a real-time witness to the world.
